Cross-manufacturer data exchange with CCI.Maps and the agrirouter
CCI.Maps is a cloud-based application developed by the Competence Center ISOBUS e. V. It extends the CCI terminals (CCI 800 and CCI 1200) with comprehensive functionalities for planning and documenting agricultural operations. The platform connects office and machine workflows and, via the agrirouter, enables manufacturer-independent data exchange.
Current scope of the agrirouter integration:
- Application maps can be imported via the agrirouter from external farm management and agronomic software solutions
- Missing information such as products, operations, or units can be added directly in CCI.Maps
- Field boundaries and specific points (e.g. farmyards, obstacles) can be created or imported
- Operations such as seeding, fertilization, or crop protection are fully documented, including applied rates and units
- Synchronization between CCI.Maps and the terminal is fully automatic: changes made in the portal are transferred directly to the terminal, and vice versa
As a result, CCI.Maps supports precise, site-specific farming and enables complete traceability of all field operations.
Roadmap 2026 – Outlook on upcoming features
Further enhancements to CCI.Maps in combination with the agrirouter are planned to significantly improve data connectivity and interoperability:
First half of 2026
- Automatic synchronization of master data between CCI.Maps and the John Deere Operations Center
- Expansion to additional software solutions
- Changes to master data (creation, editing, archiving) are distributed via the agrirouter
- Farms can independently control which connected systems receive which data
Second half of 2026
- Extension of master data synchronization to additional objects such as products, guidance lines, reference lines, and obstacles
- Centralized storage and distribution of this information via the agrirouter to all authorized systems
These developments lay the foundation for automated, manufacturer-independent workflows across the entire farming operation.
