agrirouter set for growth

The agrirouter facilitates dedicated data management as well as smart and easy networking of farming machinery and agricultural software solutions. Its expanding partner network is propelling the agrirouter towards becoming the industry standard for farming data exchange.

At the Smart Farming Days 22 event the agrirouter initiative invited more members and partners along the agricultural value chain. Johannes Sonnen, Business & Product Management DKE-Data, comments: “agrirouter has grown by 20% in 2022 and is fast becoming a standard in data exchange. More than 15 new partners (including ABACO, Agrarmonitor, Agricolus, AVR, Dataväxt, ISARIA, RWZ Raiffeisen, Trimble, Trioliet, Vineyard Cloud and many more) have joined the initiative and the number of users has doubled.

Easy and inexpensive membership for smaller partner companies

The DKE-Data agrirouter e.V. association, which was founded in the autumn of 2022, is aimed at smaller companies and offers them an easy and cost-effective way to join the agrirouter initiative. Their DKE-Data membership entitles these companies to integrate the agrirouter interface into their products (software, hardware, machines, services) like any other agrirouter partner.

New solutions to be presented at Smart Farming Days 23

Apart from announcing the new membership model at Smart Farming Days 22, the agrirouter team has been working on incorporating indoor tasks (feeding) and the connection of sensor technology (e.g. weather stations), among other things, in 2022. The first results and solutions will be presented at Smart Farming Days 23. With these new developments, the agrirouter is set to become a mainstay in the continuous optimisation and documentation of the entire agricultural production process. agrirouter continues to be free of charge for use by farmers and contractors (who can create an account via agrirouter.com).

Outlook

The range of applications will also continue to expand in the coming years. Johannes Sonnen adds: „We also expect that more and more companies will join the network, and thus our number of users will continue to grow.“
