Master Data Sync: Automatic field boundary synchronization – now and in the future

At AGRITECHNICA, we demonstrated live how a newly created field boundary can be automatically synchronized between CCI.Maps and the John Deere Operations Center™ – using the agrirouter as the central data exchange infrastructure (available from Q2 2026).

The next step is already underway: ahead of the official release, we are working to ensure that changes to and deletions of field boundaries are also synchronized automatically. This significantly enhances what is known as Master Data Sync – the synchronization of core operational data.

And best of all: this functionality will not remain exclusive. We will make it available to all partners – manufacturer-independent, practical, and secure. Over the long term, additional elements such as obstacles and AB (guidance) lines will also become part of the automated synchronization.

Important to know: Master Data Sync does not work only between two software solutions – it also scales to multiple systems. For example, if a farm has four systems connected to its agrirouter, it can keep the master data of all four systems synchronized. To do this, the software solutions must have the “Master Data Sync” function integrated in advance. Of course, we at DKE-Data are always available to provide our partners with support.

With this, the agrirouter continues to deliver on its original promise: an open infrastructure for digital agriculture, where data flows securely to where it is needed.
